CleaningHere’s everything happening across TryCleaning today.
{first_name}, {name}, {position}, plus {message} in the reply template. A blank line starts a new paragraph.{first_name}, {name}, {tier}. A blank line starts a new paragraph.Leave to decide, who is off over the next four weeks, and the consumables and kit the team has asked for.
Approve or deny time off. Approved leave shows in red on the calendar (pick the staff member in the Calendar filter) and warns you if you try to book them that day.
Consumables and kit the team has asked for from the app. Set a status and add a pick-up or delivery message; they see it in their portal. Kit already issued is recorded on each person's Staff data card.
Everyone on the team in one place: contact and roster details, academy training, documents and contracts, and the kit they hold. People who have moved on are at the bottom.
Open a person to see and edit their details, training, documents and kit. A green dot means they are on shift now. Tier levels and applications live in Tiers & progression; refill requests live in Availability & requests.
Any file type, up to 15MB. HR/managers documents stay private to management; the rest show to staff.
Hours are actual arrival → completion where the cleaner checked in and out; otherwise the scheduled length. Use the CSV to enter hours into Xero Payroll (Xero doesn't accept timesheet CSV imports; connecting the Xero API is the next step when you're ready).
CSV in Xero's sales-invoice import format (Business → Invoices → Import). Defaults: account code 200, GST on Income, due 7 days after the clean. Review on import. Amounts are the job price.
Measured by our own beacon on the public site: no cookies, no Google. Managers, staff and portals aren’t counted.
Award figures from 1 July 2026 (Cleaning Services Award 2020): broken shift allowance $4.71 a day capped at $23.56 a week (cl 17.2; the weekly cap is applied in payroll, not here), own car $1.01 per km (cl 17.11), travel between workplaces paid as if working (cl 17.12), two 10-minute paid rest breaks a day (cl 14.2). Check these every 1 July.
Everything happening with clients right now: what needs booking, what is scheduled, what got done, and what the team said on site.
Who is on site, who is driving, who is off, plus today's run, training progress and anything waiting on you.
The whole company ladder: directors at the top, then the office team (admin, HR, social media, managers), then every home carer climbing Tier 1 to Tier 4. Cleaner tasks are tracked automatically from the app, the academy and their cleans; the office team's progression is their own academy. Only directors can change someone's position.
Post to everyone in TryCleaning team (projects, meetings, notices) or message any cleaner, manager or HR directly. They get a push notification in the staff app unless they have muted the chat.
Hours cleaning, drive time between sites, home-to-site travel, time with us, upsells, and bonuses that flow straight to payroll.
Your real running costs and subscriptions, next to what the business is actually bringing in. The what-if calculator below is a scratchpad: nothing there counts until you add it to real costs.
Write documents with the team, or keep your own private ones. Everyone can type in the same document at once.
Video calls for the team. The picture and sound go straight between the people on the call wherever the network allows it, nothing is recorded and nothing is stored.
A call is comfortable up to about six people with cameras on. Past that, ask people to turn cameras off, or the sound alone stays fine for a much bigger group. Screen sharing needs a computer: phones cannot share a screen. Nothing is recorded and no call is kept. When a network will not let two people reach each other directly, the call goes through a relay instead, scrambled the whole way, so the relay cannot watch it.
